All equipment can be purchased on registration day. BAP Equipment sets up shop at the college and provides students with all gear that is needed. A starter kit can be purchased from BAP the day of registration; the kit includes a high visibility vest, required compass, Fox 40 whistle, photo case, 10x hand lense, and a 15 cm Staedtler Map Scale.

Graduates from the Maritime College of Forest Technology who meet the admission requirements into the Forestry and Environmental Management degree program, Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BScF) at the University of New Brunswick, will be eligible for direct credit transfer providing grades attained in the transferable courses are 70% or greater. That equals two years off your degree.

Program: How do the Programs Work? [Maritime College of Forest Technology, MCFT]

All students entering MCFT are enrolled in the Forest Technology program. This program takes place over two years and includes a paid summer work term between year one and two. Upon completion successful students will obtain a Diploma in Forest Technology. Any student who chooses to pursue the Advanced Diploma will have to opt into the program while in the second semester of their first year of studies if they wish to complete the Advanced Diploma within two years.
