Marine - Industrial Rigging [Nova Scotia Community College, NSCC]

In this program, you develop the skills and knowledge you require to work with rigging and hoisting with a high degree of accuracy and safety in construction, industrial, and marine settings. You also learn to manufacture, install, and repair rigging that is used to lift and move machinery or other heavy objects in shipyards, manufacturing plants, or other locations. After you complete this program, and pending completion of your certification, you're able to operate heavy workplace machinery (e.g., forklift, personnel lifts, and with supervision, electric overhead crane, boom truck, and mobile crane).
