Truck and Transport Service Technician [New Brunswick Community College, NBCC]

If you’re mechanically inclined, and working with big rigs sounds appealing, our Truck and Transport Service Technician program is for you. The program will train you to examine vehicles for defects, locate the cause of malfunctions, overhaul mechanical components, check electrical and fuel systems, repair defects, fit new parts and reassemble components. It may sound a little confusing at first, but don’t worry – once you’re in the program you’ll quickly pick up on the ins and outs of some of the largest motor vehicle components out there. You won’t think twice about diving under the hood of a massive transport.
