Note to all applicants: Remember that you are applying to a creative program whose focus is on training students as graphic designers. This will enable you to seek work in a variety of areas within this industry. These may include printing and publishing companies, newspaper, magazine and book producers, art and design studios, advertising agencies and other creative studios, as well as the new media fields including companies producing design solutions for the web, television and the film industries. Keep this in mind when producing work for submissions.

Correctional Officers monitor, supervise and interact with incarcerated offenders to help offenders to become law-abiding citizens after serving their sentences. Correctional Officers ensure the safety and well-being of inmates within institutions. Some tasks include: supervising inmate movement, escorting inmates both inside and outside the institution, searching cells, offenders, visitors, vehicles, living units, and surrounding areas, extracting inmates from cells, and conducting security checks.

The Conservation Enforcement program is specifically designed to provide training to wildlife and forestry technicians. Trainees in the program will acquire the skills and knowledge they need for a career in conservation enforcement. They will be prepared for work in Natural Resources agencies as conservation enforcement officers and in other related fields of enforcement and security throughout Canada.

Training at an off-campus site offers you firefighting experience in a controlled environment.
