The Catherine Lalonde Memorial Award will be presented to a graduate student who demonstrates excellence in their studies of structural wood or wood design. The Canadian Wood Council (CWC) invites submission from graduate students in engineering, architecture, wood science and forestry. Research projects must demonstrate direct benefit for structural products manufactured by the Canadian forest products industry.

In this concentration, you develop the knowledge and skills needed to work as a child and youth care worker. You bring a high level of respect for children and youth to your study and are committed to helping them see their strengths and develop to their full potential. In this field, you often work with teams to design recreational, therapeutic, and social programs for troubled youth. In addition to being compassionate, you must also be firm enough to facilitate therapeutic programs and interventions.
As part of our national program, we are looking for 20 Aboriginal (First Nation, Métis and Inuit) students at the college and/or university level who are interested in a future career with Business Development Bank of Canada. The program is designed to provide business experience through training and mentorship. The objective will be to select candidates that may qualify for permanent employment as customer service officers or account managers with BDC once they have completed their education and are looking for full-time employment.
The Bold Eagle Program provides Aboriginal youth with summer employment that offers a combination of military training and First Nations cultural awareness.
