CAD Technician - Mechanical [Nova Scotia Community College, NSCC]

In this program, you're introduced to mechanical drafting disciplines and become familiar with the many additional opportunities that are available in other graphic related fields. Technical mathematics and communications specific to these fields are integrated. Problem-solving abilities and drafting skills are honed through practical assignments where you think through the process of drawing development. Production of drawings using computer-aided-drafting (CAD) is a significant component. 3D solid modeling and parametric concepts are introduced and utilized, and other computer applications are used to produce documents related to the manufacture, marketing, and use of the products.
