“The Firefighter Program is designed for First Nation communities at a community volunteer level. Participants in the program will gain the knowledge, skills and basic techniques required for basic firefighting services. They will learn fire apparatus operations, safety devices and features of fire fighting vehicles and equipment, and the occupational health and safety requirements of the job.”
