Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Advanced Education and Skills

The Career Development Partnership Initiative is a joint project between the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and the Department of Education. This partnership responds to an identified need in the school system and a commitment by both departments to strengthen and support career development in Newfoundland and Labrador’s K-12 school system.

This program provides supports to individuals with disabilities and significant disability related challenges to access training and skill development opportunities. It is designed to assist persons with disabilities acquire the skills, experience and support necessary to successfully prepare for, enter or remain in the work force.

The Graduate Employment Program is designed to assist recent post-secondary graduates secure valuable work experience in their field of study. Eligible graduates can use this wage subsidy program to market themselves to employers.
