The program is intended for learners who have already completed a Bachelor's degree and who wish to study a particular management issue.

The MACD is a program designed for the practicing professional. It is based at the University of Victoria and delivered through a combination of online and residential courses. Each of the two residential workshops is held in the summer terms. The program starts in May and courses are offered year round. The program has been developed in collaboration with practitioners from the community with experience in leading community-based organizations.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies along with the Indigenous Governance Program (IGOV) offers the selected opportunities for students to pursue a PhD degree by Special Arrangement.

The Master of Arts in Indigenous Governance (MAIG) is an interdisciplinary program focused on traditional structures and ways of governance and encompassing the values, perspectives, concepts, and principles of Indigenous political cultures.
