This program provides incentives for the preparation of forest management plans and selected nonclearcut silvicultural treatments. All activities under the Forest Enhancement Program are cost shared between the provincial government and the landowner and must meet the standards contained in the Ecosystem-Based Forest Management manual

The New Brunswick Deposit Evaluation Program (NBDEP) is a financial assistance program to stimulate mineral exploration by providing up to 50% of eligible costs within prescribed limits.
NBPAP is a financial assistance program offered by Minerals, Policy and Planning Division (MPPD) of the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources (NBDNR). The program is for prospectors searching for metallic or industrial minerals (except aggregates) in the Province, who can receive up to: a maximum of $5,000 if the prospector does not have mineral claims at the time of application and a maximum of $15,000 if the prospector has existing mineral claims at the time of application.
The New Brunswick Junior Mining Assistance Program (NBJMAP): Is a financial assistance program for private-sector Junior companies; provides up to 50% of eligible costs, within defined limits, for mineral exploration projects; and is intended to increase the probability of finding economically viable mineral resources in New Brunswick.

"The Gasoline and Motive Fuel Tax Act provides for point-of-sale tax exemptions on motive fuel (marked) by the issuance of purchaser's permits to the following classes of qualifying consumers: aquaculturists, farmers, fishers, silviculturists, wood producers, manufacturers, persons engaged in mining/quarrying and forest workers, which include persons under contract with silviculturists, persons under contract with wood producers and persons engaged in the construction and maintenance of woods roads for the purpose of harvesting trees."
