First Nations Socioeconomic Forum Report - Acting Now…for the Future

The Mashteuiatsh Forum, held October 25, 26 and 27 of 2006, which was an inaugural event for the First Nations, was an opportunity for meetings and discussions, among stakeholders from all sectors – First Nations, Inuit, representatives of civil society, and representatives from the governments of Quebec and Canada –united around the same table. The purpose of the Forum was to bring together all parties who are concerned or who have interests in the socioeconomic development of the First Nations of Quebec.

Education and Training: Scholarships and Bursaries [Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association, NLCA]

Applications for the 2019 scholarships will be available this fall.

Up to ten NLCA Scholarships, each valued at $1000, will be awarded this year to the dependents of owners and employees of member firms in good standing. As well as, the Lar Rossiter Memorial Scholarship Award – one scholarship valued at $2000.

The deadline for applications will be in November.
